Movement Joints


The balcony has separated due to movement, causing a gap & exposing the reinforcement.
Sealant Joint
The crack is repaired with a high strength mortar.
A channel is then cut & a movement joint is installed, using a flexible sealant.
This will allow the 2 balcony surfaces to move without causing further damage.
